Living in Anchorage, Alaska, I am always looking for new indoor hobbies to do during the long winters. I’ve done beading off and on for years. In recent years I’ve taken up glass fusing for a creative outlet. I was introduced to metal clay in Tucson this past February. Being interested in various art forms and jewelry design, I was instantly hooked. I am continuing classes in metal clay, locally now. I may have to give up my day job, just to find enough time to keep up with new design ideas and methods. I’ve worked with fine silver, sterling silver, and copper clays so far. I learned about Cool Tools from an instructor. It has become a great resource for supplies and information.
